Harambee University is a private higher education institution in Ethiopia, established in 2002 with the aim of expanding quality education and contributing to national development.

• Founded: 2002 in Adama City, Oromia Regional State.

• Originally started as a center for English language training, it expanded into a college and later a full university. 

• Today, it’s one of Ethiopia’s recognized private universities with a growing footprint.

Harambee University offers a mix of undergraduate, postgraduate, and vocational (TVET) programs:

Undergraduate Programs:
Fields include Accounting & Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Management, MIS, Computer Science, Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health, and Midwifery.

Master’s Programs:

• MBA (Master of Business Administration)

• Master’s in Project Management

TVET Programs:
The university also runs 10 accredited TVET vocational programs approved by the Oromia Regional State TVET Bureau.
